Kusum scheme के सोलर पम्प मिलने से किसानों को बड़ा फायदा मिलेगा. सिंचाई के लिए किसानों को बारिश पर निर्भर नहीं रहना पड़ेगा. सोलर पम्प लगाने से किसानों का डीजल बचेगा और उनकी आय में भी बढ़ोत्तरी होगी. खेती-बाड़ी की लागत में कमी आएगी और साथ में बिजली की खपत कम हो जाएगी.
PM Kusum scheme के सोलर पम्प लग जाने से सिंचाई के अतिरिक्त सौर उर्जा आधारित थ्रेसिंग और चारा कटाई आदि में भी किसानों को काफी आसानी होगी. सरकार ने इन सोलर पम्पों की स्थापना के साथ 60 प्रतिशत अनुदान और पूर्व की तरह 15 प्रतिशत टॉप अप अनुदान देने का भी फैसला लिया है.
कृषि विभाग को 100 दिनों में इस योजना के प्रस्ताव को मंत्रीपरिषद से अनुमोदन दिलाकर इसका क्रियान्वयन शुरू कराने की तैयारी की जा रही है. योगी सरकार किसानों को कल्याणकारी योजनाओं का लाभ दिलाने के लिए पूरी तरह से प्रतिबद्ध है.
